Jawhar Ecology Centre is working towards protecting the few protected and biodiversity rich forests in Jawhar taluka. Our approach is to reduce the impact of human activity on the existing forests. We follow a combination of measures including planting trees. We engage deeply with the local tribal communities and prefer a slow measured approach.
